Art Surrey at Sandown Park – March 2025
Thank you for a fantastic weekend, the venue was the best we’ve experienced so far, bright and spacious and it seemed very welcoming for the public. We found customers felt more comfortable taking their time browsing and returning to stands, and spent more time chatting and getting to know our work. We will definitely want to book that stand for next year’s fair. Along with our originals sales, we made several sales for 4 prints to be drop-shipped to customers that wouldn’t have been recorded on the ‘proof of purchase’ receipts. If any other sales come in from the fair I’ll pass that info on. We also had members of your team stop by on a regular basis and check on how our show was going. You and your team make artists feel like part of a community rather than just an artist with a stand trying to sell. You have built something special. Thank you!

As a first timer at Epsom, I was so impressed with the communication, ease of get in, set up and take down. The venue was great, and the proximity of the Holiday Inn Express (excellent) and the pub made the whole thing the easiest art fair I’ve ever done. I also just had an £850 sale as a direct result of the art fair that won’t be in your receipts book, as I’ve had to post it and she paid online. The surrounding artists were a total joy and al in all I loved it.

Art Surrey at Epsom Downs – October 2023
It wasn’t too much of a difficult decision to take part in the inaugural Art Surrey as my experiences of Sussex Art Fair have been very positive. Now that it’s done, I can say without any doubt that it was a wise decision. The fair was exceptionally well organised, professionally run and most importantly well attended. Over all there were almost 2,000 visitors across the private view and the 2 days of the fair, with at least 303 artworks being sold. The reason I know this is because Fraser shares these figures after the event with everyone who exhibits, shining a light onto the all too often shadowy world of visitor and sales figures. The amount of visitors and sales is testimony to the hard work of Carol, John and Gemma who did a fantastic job or attracting buyers for the very first Art Surrey. The whole team were friendly, welcoming and very keen to ensure everyone had the best experience possible. Although, there is never a guarantee that art fairs will be a profitable experience for exhibitors, all we can ask is that they are well run, professional and bring in enough art buyers to give us the best chance possible and the team ticked all those boxes with aplomb.

Very professional show as always. Footfall was decent considering the current economic doom and I can see from sales breakdown people were purchasing which is credit to you guys. Loved the light by my stand as my paintings need light, the venue was spacious and flowed very well.
